Job summary

Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Head of Talent Development to shape and deliver the company’s talent strategy and roadmap. You will connect leadership development with career pathways, job levels, and early-career programmes to support business priorities.

You will lead annual analyses, close capability gaps, and design practical solutions while driving succession planning with division heads for critical roles.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR or equivalent from a recognised university.
• WSQ ACTA/ACLP preferred.
• At least 7 years in talent development/management or organisation development.
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
• Hands-on succession planning & talent reviews experience.
• Knowledge of SkillsFuture initiatives, Skills Frameworks & training funding.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the talent development strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Lead annual learning needs analysis to identify capability gaps and design practical solutions.
• Drive Talent Management and Succession Planning with Division Heads for critical roles & HiPo readiness.
• Facilitate talent reviews and calibration; coordinate leadership assessments and development plans.
• Track progress, highlight pipeline gaps, and present talent insights to senior leadership and Board.
• Roll out Leadership Development Framework with coaching, mentoring and stretch assignments.
• Oversee early-career initiatives, sponsorships, internships and partnerships with Institutes of Higher Learning.
• Manage Talent Development budget, grants, LMS, metrics, and lead the team.
