Responsibilities
Providing normal business hours service support and on standby 24x7 for incident calls or escalation calls.
Reviewing, assigning, and supervising all support teams on their roles and responsibilities and aligning to Authority’s expectation and standards.
Managing, supervising and improving the workflow and throughput for Data Center operations where necessary.
Managing/supervising incidents related to the M&E Facility and/or Cloud Operations.
Reviewing Data Centre IT infrastructure processes such as Asset Management, Capacity Management, Configuration Management, Service Fulfilment management, Change management and obtaining endorsement from Authority to implement or update any policy/process/forms of the Data Center.
Managing and monitoring vendor performance management according to KPI/SLAs for break fix/maintenance/installation of Data Centre IT infrastructure management.
Reviewing Vendor’s ITIL framework process in both M&E Facility Operations and Cloud Operations’ maintenance, break fix through Change Management, Incident Management, Asset Management, Capacity Management, Service Requests and ensuring that all works are well documented and stored accordingly and made available for audit.
POC for escalation/consultation of incidents from Customer, Vendor, DC Operators and mediate the queries/requests respectively before escalating to Authority.
Ensuring uptime of DC infrastructure systems on both M&E Facility and Cloud Operations.
Reviewing/Approving requests (Change/Service) on both M&E Facility and/or Cloud Operations and involved in the weekly CAB.
Reviewing/Auditing all documentation performed by all support teams (e.g. DC Operators, FM team and other support teams, etc.) and ensuring that it is stored in the appropriate location.
Coordinating and working with all support teams (e.g. FM Team/Cloud Operators/Security Guards/etc.) where necessary.
Ensuring all the support teams in the Command Center, Security Guards are performing their daily duties diligently and effectively.
Supervising/managing all support teams (e.g. DC Operators, Security Guards, Cloud Operations Team/etc.) in the Data Center on handling requests according to the agreed Service Level Agreement.
Performing any other ad-hoc duties given by Supervisor/Authority.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, with consideration given to experience and certification.
Working experience in a mission‑critical data center environment, with knowledge of IT infrastructure that supports a data centre.
Working experience in a cloud environment, with knowledge of cloud services lifecycle environment.
Good analytical skills and ability to work with others such as vendors, subcontractors and fellow team members.
Project management skill and preferably with ITIL framework knowledge.
