Qualifikationen

• Five years in dry bulk chartering with earnings decisions.
• Experience from Handysize, Supramax or Ultramax is welcome.
• Pacific market experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Shape and carry out the desk’s trading strategy using in-house research and market fundamentals, and manage exposure on positions (FFA hedging where relevant).
• Own key charterer and broker relationships; lead conversations with senior client decision makers.
• Mentor the other charterers on market reading, relationships and deal structuring.
• Work with operations on live voyages and travel regularly to meet clients.
