Job summary

Triton AI Pte Ltd on Jurong Island, Singapore, is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to oversee end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations in a permanent role.

You will drive cost optimisation, improve operational excellence, and lead digitalisation and automation initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance.

This position requires a degree in SCM or related field and a minimum of 5 years in chemical manufacturing, with SAP experience and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of end-to-end supply chain management experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and service-level performance.
• SAP experience is a MUST and proficiency in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, inventory management and transportation.
• Monitor stock levels, accuracy and warehouse utilisation to optimise holdings and storage.
• Manage 3PLs and contractors, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.
• Coordinate material movements and delivery schedules to support on-time customer fulfilment.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and drive digitalisation and automation projects.
• Prepare operational reports and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and quality management standards.
• Promote workplace safety and conduct contractor safety reviews and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

The Opportunity

Our client is an established chemical manufacturing organisation with significant operations in Singapore. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to oversee end-to-end warehouse and logistics activities while driving cost optimisation, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and third-party logistics providers, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, workplace safety and timely customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation and physical distribution.

• Monitor inventory levels, stock accuracy and warehouse utilisation to maintain optimal stockholding and efficient storage operations.

• Manage third-party logistics providers and contractors, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements, service-level agreements and operational KPIs.

• Coordinate material movements and delivery schedules to support smooth operations and on-time customer fulfilment.

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, workflow improvements, digitalisation and automation projects.

• Prepare operational reports, analyse supply chain data and provide actionable recommendations to management.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations and quality-management requirements.

• Promote Workplace Safety and Health standards through contractor safety reviews, inspections, audits and risk assessments.

• Support incident investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives and improve supply chain performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of end to end supply chain management experiences covers logistics and warehouse operations within chemical manufacturing industry

• SAP Experience is a MUST

• Experience managing third-party logistics providers, contractors and service-level performance.

• Good understanding of inventory management, warehouse optimisation and transportation coordination.

• Knowledge of WSH regulations, risk assessments, contractor safety management and incident investigation.

• Experience leading cost-reduction, continuous-improvement, digitalisation or automation initiatives will be advantageous.

• Strong analytical, planning, coordination and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable preparing operational reports and data analyses.

• Self-motivated, proactive and committed to operational excellence.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
