Job summary

BW Offshore Limited is seeking a Project Subcontracts Manager in Singapore to lead the subcontracting discipline for FPSO/offshore projects. You will drive strategy, manage the end-to-end subcontract lifecycle, and coordinate with project leadership to meet budgets and schedules.

The role requires 15+ years in subcontracting or contracts within oil & gas, with strong leadership, negotiation, and HSSE awareness in a global, multi-disciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in subcontracting, contracts management, or commercial management within oil & gas, offshore, or energy.
• At least five (5) years in a senior leadership or management role with direct accountability for a subcontracting or contracts team on a major capital project.
• Experience managing high-value, complex contracts across the full lifecycle on FPSO/offshore EPC projects.
• Track record of handling variations, claims, and disputes during active project execution.
• Experience in international, multi-jurisdiction environments with local content considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the subcontracts discipline across FPSO projects.
• Develop and implement the subcontracts execution plan aligned with PEP, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee the full subcontract lifecycle from planning to close-out and lessons learned.
• Establish and maintain the Project Subcontracts Register (PSR) and interface with project leadership.
• Lead pre-qualification and selection of subcontractors to ensure HSSE-compliant, capable supply chain.
• Lead negotiations for high-value subcontracts, including variations and claims.
• Monitor subcontract commercial performance against budget and schedule; mitigate risks.
• Set KPIs for the Subcontracts Team and provide mentoring and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with laws, ethics, anti-bribery policies, and local content obligations.
• Report status, commitments, expenditures, and risk to governance forums and corporate functions.
• Drive timely close-out and final account settlement, retention release, and lessons learned.
• Participate in readiness and stage-gate reviews and audits related to Subcontracts.
