Job summary

SingHealth Integrated Pathology Services (SIPS) is seeking a Senior Assistant Director to drive strategic planning, operational excellence, and service transformation across the SingHealth cluster.

You will lead manpower strategy, integrate blood bank services, and oversee a broad portfolio spanning pathology services, with a focus on sustainable, high-quality care and future readiness in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in healthcare, biomedical sciences, public health, health administration, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in healthcare operations, pathology services, or cluster-level service management.
• Minimum 6 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in manpower planning, service development, and large-scale healthcare transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead cluster-wide specialist manpower strategy, deployment, and succession planning across SingHealth institutions.
• Drive the integration and harmonisation of blood bank laboratory services, including standardisation of policies, workflows, and information systems.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for laboratory services supporting population health and screening programmes.
• Develop and execute service strategies for new and expanded pathology services, with clear KPIs and outcome tracking.
• Advance the digital pathology roadmap, supporting AI-assisted diagnostics and data-driven quality improvement.
• Manage staffing, budget planning, and daily operations for SIPS in accordance with Finance and HR policies.
