Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Operations Management or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 8 years in leadership or managerial roles (healthcare sector would be advantageous).
• Experience in operations, workforce, finance, projects or service transformation.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinical & Service Operations Management: Oversee operational planning, coordination and performance management of pathology services.
• Strategic Planning & Performance Management: Develop departmental strategic plans, monitor performance indicators and drive improvement actions.
• Leadership Management: Manage direct and indirect reports with clear performance expectations.
• Manpower & Performance Management: Lead workforce planning and deployment of resources; drive productivity and transformation.
• Procurement & Contract Management: Lead procurement submissions and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Transformation & Project Management: Establish scope, governance, plans, milestones and deliverability for projects.
