STARBUCKS COFFEE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT professional to manage the information technology function in Singapore, aligning financial and IT systems with standards and guiding principles. You will support POS operations, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors, and ensure system integrity across stores.

The role includes maintaining reports, providing end-user training, and mentoring junior team members while driving IT initiatives in a store network environment.

This job contributes to Starbucks success by managing the information technology function for Starbucks Coffee Singapore and providing sustainable processes and tools that support and benefit the continual growth of business. Ensures alignment of financial and information technology systems with standards and processes. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts as contact for all users on POS system and stores IT solution issues or problems. Troubleshoots, analyzes, and escalates software and hardware issues as needed to ensure resolution and keeps system operational.


• Develops recommendations and coordinates issue resolution and Information Technology (IT) and outside service providers based on business unit priorities. Documents and communicates problem resolution.


• Documents appropriate training materials to support the needs of the functional area. Assists in providing ongoing end-user systems training to ensure continued and correct use of application and to roll out new tools and procedures.


• Maintains the integrity and the functionality of business unit systems by performing system and database maintenance. Monitors system performance; analyzes problems and recommends solutions.


• Monitors usage, practices, trends to identify potential problems. Maintains POS systems and Store IT solution configurations, documentation and procedures, such as user setups and interface administration for departmental computing or non-enterprise systems.


• Research, design and schedules standardized reports or create adhoc reports or data queries to support the business unit. Maintains standardized reports currently in production. Maintains a log of completed and ongoing system changes.


• Participates in cross-functional teams discussions to provide recommendations on new initiatives or projects.


• Work with IT partners, functional analysts and vendor on projects implementation.


• Works with IT partners, functional analysts and vendors on small to medium projects with guidance to coordinate system enhancements.


• Tracks project progress and provides updates to impacted parties. Communicates new system functionality to department and assists users in understanding implications.


• Keeping abreast of technological developments and applications and uses that information to proactively initiate enhancements to mitigate against future problems.
  


• Maintains and keep track and update IT hardware and software assets
  


• Works with IT vendors to ensure quality services and equipment provided are fulfilling organization’s requirements and adhering to SLA, MSA and IT strategy.


• Provide mentorship to junior team members, providing guidance in work responsibilities and drive success of the team’s deliverables.
  


• Works with support team (internal and external) ensuring services availability in stores environment.


• Train and coach junior team members. Delegate daily operational tasks among the junior to ensure that the system is well maintain and users are supported effectively.
