Job summary

Argyll Scott is seeking an experienced IT Manager in Singapore to lead IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and technology initiatives. The role focuses on reliable, secure, and cost-effective IT services that support business objectives and ongoing improvement.

You will drive IT strategy, oversee system performance, and manage budgets while partnering with regional teams and vendors to deliver technology initiatives that enhance efficiency and security.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• At least 5 years IT experience, preferably multi-site retail/hospitality.
• Experience supporting POS and ERP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments, cloud services, IAM, networking, and productivity platforms.
• Experience managing vendors and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee performance, reliability, and optimisation of applications, network infrastructure, and IT systems.
• Maintain IT security, backup, disaster recovery, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct system reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and security standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage end-to-end IT projects, including planning, implementation, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver IT initiatives and support ongoing operations.
• Manage IT budgets, technology assets, and procurement activities to ensure cost-effective resource utilisation.
• Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with regional and global technology teams to ensure alignment with broader IT strategies and standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably within retail, hospitality, consumer, or multi-site operating environments.
• Experience supporting POS and ERP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments, cloud services, identity and access management, networking, and productivity platforms.
• Experience managing vendors, external consultants, and technology partners.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise business systems and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of IT security, business continuity, and disaster recovery practices.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
