Job summary

NetEase is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to manage the operational work of our online services and research projects. You will design runtime environments for game servers, monitor metrics, and collaborate with product teams to improve architecture and user experience.

The role requires strong Linux knowledge, multiple programming languages, and a passion for open-source and AI-enabled operations. This position is based in Singapore and focuses on high-availability services across our

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in CS/Networking/Automation preferred.
Familiar with Linux; knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP.
Proficient in at least one programming language (C/C++, Shell, Python, Golang, Rust, or Java).
Experience with open-source software (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, K8S, Istio) preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate NetEase Interactive Entertainment services and internal research projects.
Design runtime environments for game servers based on architecture and requirements.
Establish and monitor operational metrics and data standards.
Collaborate with product teams to optimize architecture and user experience.
Research open-source software and develop technical solutions for deployment.
