Job summary

NetEase Games is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to manage and optimize the company’s online gaming services such as Eggy Party and Marvel Rivals. You will design runtime environments, monitor metrics, and collaborate with product teams to improve reliability and user experience.

The role requires strong Linux, network and programming skills (C/C++, Python, Shell, Golang, Java) and open-source experience, with Chinese proficiency necessary for collaboration with China teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Experience with Linux and common network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C++, Shell, Python, Golang, Rust, Java).
• Open-source experience preferred (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, K8s, Istio).
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Chinese proficiency required for collaboration with China partners.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage NetEase Interactive Entertainment services and internal projects.
• Design runtime environments (servers, virtualization, cloud, networks) for game servers.
• Define and monitor operational metrics and data standards.
• Collaborate with product teams to optimize architecture and user experience.
• Explore/open-source tech and develop solutions for deployment and automation.
