Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to support a large-scale government platform.

You will ensure platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and continual improvement. You will design observability solutions, manage CI/CD, and collaborate with development teams on architecture, capacity planning, and performance optimization, with a focus on Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools in a DevSecOps

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Golang, Bash)
Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD) and DevSecOps practices
Hands-on monitoring/observability experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization

Responsibilities

Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security of cloud and on-premises infrastructure
Design and implement monitoring/observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs
Manage incident response, RCA, and post-incident improvements
Automate provisioning/config/deployment with Terraform/Ansible
Manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Collaborate with development teams on architecture, capacity planning
Develop automation scripts and internal tools
