Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to support a large-scale government platform.

You will ensure reliability, security, and performance through automation, monitoring, and improvements across cloud and on-prem environments. The role demands strong Kubernetes and Docker skills, IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and hands-on experience with Prometheus/Grafana/ELK. You will collaborate with development teams on architecture, capacity planning, and CI/CD

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
Minimum 4 years in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Bash.
Experience with Terraform or Ansible.
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
Hands-on with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

Responsibilities

Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Design and implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalents.
Define and monitor SLOs and SLIs.
Manage incident response, RCA, and post-incident improvements.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
Manage and optimize containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to improve deployment efficiency and stability.
Collaborate with development teams on architecture, performance, and capacity planning.
Develop automation scripts and internal tools to improve efficiency.
