Job summary

PatSnap, based in Singapore, is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong software engineering skills to join our Singapore team. You will improve platform reliability, build automation, and apply AI to engineering challenges.

You will work with the SRE Leader and Staff SRE to contribute hands-on to our AI transformation. You will collaborate with global teams, own critical initiatives, and help scale our SaaS platform while ensuring security, performance, and robustness.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in software development, SRE, platform engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript; experience building and maintaining tools or services.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability, including production troubleshooting.
• Experience applying AI tools to engineering work and verifying outputs.
• Fluency in English; Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, security, performance, and scalability of the SaaS platform.
• Independently deliver defined engineering projects from design to production rollout.
• Develop internal tools and automation to simplify operations and improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and alerting.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and resolve production incidents.
