Job summary

PatSnap is seeking a hands-on SRE Leader with a strong software engineering background to build and lead PatSnap’s Singapore SRE team. You will combine team leadership with active involvement in technical design and development, improving the reliability of our global SaaS platform while building platforms, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• ≥8 years in software development, platform engineering or SRE with leadership.
• Strong programming in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Distributed systems and high-availability SaaS expertise.
• Hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability experience.
• Ability to drive cross-team delivery and mentor engineers.
• Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the Singapore SRE team, setting technical direction and priorities.
• Improve reliability, security, scalability, and efficiency of the global SaaS platform.
• Lead technical projects end to end, contributing hands-on to design and rollout.
• Create internal platforms, developer tools, and automation to reduce repetitive work.
• Establish 24/7 on-call coverage, participate in incidents, and drive improvements.
• Strengthen governance, observability, and release safety.
• Apply AI tools to engineering workflows and turn insights into repeatable practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security across locations.
