Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in storage product technology.
• Experience as Solutions Engineer / Pre-Sales / Architect in storage domains.
• Knowledge of Cloud, AI/ML, Database, Microservices, DevOps advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leverage in-depth product knowledge to deliver technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers.
• Collaborate with sales staff to assess customer needs, design tailored storage solutions, and prepare detailed product specifications for implementation.
• Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems with strong knowledge of NAS, SAN, and Object Storage, including enterprise and Cloud Services environments.
• Build proof-of-concept applications and rapid prototypes to demonstrate solution feasibility to clients.
• Provide consultation, product capability assessments, and ROI/TCO analysis to articulate the competitive advantages of NetApp storage solutions.
• Deliver deep expertise across the Storage and Data Management vendor ecosystem, including prior experience with backup solutions.
• Collaborate with client executives and partner sales teams to develop strategies that drive customer opportunities and advise on the utilization of broader technical resources.

Job Summary

The Senior Solution Engineer (SE) collaborates closely with client executives to align NetApp's technical strategy with the customer's long-term vision and goals. The SE addresses business and IT challenges by providing uniquely differentiated solutions. This role involves engaging with a wide range of customer stakeholders and leveraging the appropriate NetApp team and expertise in solutions, products, ecosystems, and industry knowledge.

Job Requirements

As a Senior Solutions Engineer in NetApp's Sales Function, you will primarily provide pre‑sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our cutting‑edge data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business results, focusing on expanding our presence within existing and new clients together with business partners.

Education

• At least 12 Years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on storage product and services
• Prior experience of working in capacity of Solutions Engineer, Pre Sales Architect, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect on storage technologies
• (Preferred) Specialised knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application or DevOps is advantageous
• Operate as Subject‑Matter‑Expert (SME) and has the ability to influence Sales team, driving initiatives and act as a Decision‑maker on Projects
