Job summary

AIA Singapore is seeking a Senior Solutions Analyst to support Claims system enhancements, new product implementations, and projects within Life Operations. You will analyze end-to-end processes, create AS-IS/TO-BE mappings, and document user requirements to ensure lean, efficient automation.

You will translate business needs into test scenarios, drive UAT, coordinate stakeholders, and provide post‑implementation verification.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Business IT, CS or related field.
Certifications in Lean Six Sigma and/or Prince 2 preferred.
1–2 years in life insurance claims operations or claims background preferred.
Life 400/Asia AS400 background preferred.
Knowledge of Healthshield, minor and major claims preferred.
Experience gathering requirements for life/health insurance systems and integrations.
3–5 years as a business analyst in life insurance operations or related system knowledge.
Experience in digital products or services (mobile or web) preferred.
Experience in UAT and defect resolution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Actively involved in delivery and implementation of Claims System enhancements, new products, and projects.
Analyze end-to-end business processes, systems, and data in operations.
Create AS-IS and TO-BE process maps for lean implementations.
Develop user requirements aligned with business needs.
Facilitate changes with users to meet launch timelines.
Document and articulate business requirements for IT delivery.
Evaluate high-level solutions with IT and recommend options.
Bridge technology and business teams for new systems or enhancements.
Translate requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Set up test environments and UAT requirements with stakeholders.
Execute UAT, review results, and resolve defects.
Provide UAT sign-off after testing and resolution.
Post-implementation verification before project closure.
Contribute to project planning and resource management.
Guide Analysts and Support Specialists; train the trainers.
Seek continuous improvement in area of expertise.
