Job summary

ST Engineering Singapore seeks a seasoned Software Program Manager to lead large-scale software initiatives from concept to delivery. You will define program goals, create plans, and track milestones while collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape requirements, scope, and schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software program management, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Proven experience in managing software development programs from conception to delivery.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with software development technologies and concepts.
Experience in managing cloud-based applications and services, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Manage software development programs, including defining program goals, creating program plans, and tracking progress against goals and milestones.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project requirements, scope, and schedules.
Lead project planning and execution, including risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and risk logs.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure that project goals are achieved.
Proactively identify and address project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage cloud-based applications and services, including deploying and configuring cloud resources, monitoring application performance, and troubleshooting issues.
Ensure the security of cloud-based applications by implementing appropriate security controls and conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Continuously monitor and optimize cloud application performance to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
