Job summary

jobline resources pte. ltd. is seeking an accomplished senior leader to guide a software engineering organisation in Singapore. The role emphasizes development of managers, architects, and engineers, along with establishing rigorous SDLC processes and secure delivery practices.

You will drive capacity planning, offshore coordination, and continuous improvement across projects, including tenders and customer engagements, while keeping cybersecurity and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary software teams.
• Strong experience managing full SDLC for complex, mission-critical systems.
• Experience establishing software engineering standards and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Experience supporting tenders, technical proposals, and customer engagements.
• Strong knowledge of modern software architecture, development methodologies, and secure software practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing software engineering organisation.
• Coach and mentor software managers, architects, and engineers.
• Manage performance, career progression, and succession planning.
• Plan capacity and resources across projects and services.
• Coordinate offshore and external development resources.
• Establish and maintain a structured software development lifecycle.
• Define engineering standards, reviews, and quality gates.
• Promote AI-assisted software engineering with security controls.
• Support tenders, solution architecture, and delivery strategies.
• Represent the division in customer meetings and technical workshops.
