Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks an experienced software engineer to join our Mission Software & Services team. You will work with a development team to design, test and deploy system and network infrastructure as part of a project implementation.

Responsibilities include delivering robust software across full-stack technologies, collaborating with engineers, project managers and customers, and driving scalable, secure solutions with modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in full-stack development and software engineering.
• Minimum 2 years with Agile methodology.
• Experience in at least one full software development cycle (design to testing).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps or CI/CD for build and release automation.
• Proficiency with Node.js, React, TypeScript, Spring Boot, Angular.js, Vue.js, Next.js, Express.js, FastAPI.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MSSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Resourceful, independent, and conscientious.

Responsibilities

• Reach project goals by coordinating with Engineers, Project Managers and Customers.
• Create, track and manage reusable components.
• Provide proactive solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
• Lead the team to design, develop, test and debug system software.
• Identify technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
• Review code and architectural design.
• Drive standards in design and development.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.
