Job summary

Talent Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to maintain and enhance machine software, and to develop features based on customer and equipment needs in Singapore.

The role involves on-site support, collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical and Application teams, and travel regionally. Candidates should have a degree in an engineering discipline and at least 3 years of software development experience, with C/C++ on Windows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming on Windows OS.
• Experience in PC-based control programming.
• Knowledge of real-time control systems, OO software design and database technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel regionally.
• Experience with Vision, Motion Control and SECS/GEM is advantageous for senior roles.
• Relevant equipment/software project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing machine software.
• Develop software features based on customer and equipment requirements.
• Provide on-site software support and troubleshooting.
• Review and update user requirements and operating procedures.
• Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Application teams on hardware/software integration.
• Develop software utilities to improve equipment setup and operation.
