Job summary

TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is looking for a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing machine software while developing new features. The role requires on-site work in Woodlands, with collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and application teams.

The position demands 3+ years of software development experience, strong C/C++ on Windows, and knowledge of real-time control systems. Travel regionally is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming on Windows OS.
• Experience in PC-based control programming.
• Knowledge of real-time control systems, object-oriented software design and database technologies.
• Experience with Vision, Motion Control and SECS/GEM will be an advantage, particularly for the Senior position.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing machine software.
• Develop software features based on customer and equipment requirements.
• Provide on-site software support and troubleshooting.
• Review and update user requirements and operating procedures.
• Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Application teams on hardware/software integration.
• Develop software utilities to improve equipment setup and operation.
