Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced software engineer for on-site work in Singapore.

The role focuses on sustaining and enhancing machine software, implementing new features from customer requirements, and supporting on-site software issues. Collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and application teams is essential to bring hardware and software features to life. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 3 years of software development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficient in C and C++ programming with Windows OS.
• Experienced in PC-based control programming.
• Knowledge of real-time control systems, OO design methodologies and database technologies.
• Familiarity with vision systems, motion control; senior position may be assigned.
• Willing to travel regionally for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Software sustaining and continuous improvement of current machine software.
• Responsible for software feature development and enhancement based on customer requirements.
• Provide support and troubleshooting to on-site software issues.
• Review and update user requirement documents and operation procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, application teams to implement new hardware/software features.
• Develop and enhance software utilities to improve equipment setup and ease of operation.
