Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer in Woodlands, Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing machine software, with hands-on development and on-site support.

The position offers regional travel, a multi-disciplinary environment, and opportunities to work with Vision, Motion Control and SECS/GEM systems. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, at least 3 years of software development experience, and strong C/C++

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
Proficient in C/C++ programming on Windows OS.
Experience in PC-based control programming.
Knowledge of real-time control systems, object-oriented software design and database technologies.
Experience with Vision, Motion Control and SECS/GEM will be an advantage, particularly for the Senior position.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
Willing to travel regionally.
Relevant equipment/software project experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance existing machine software.
Develop software features based on customer and equipment requirements.
Provide on-site software support and troubleshooting.
Review and update user requirements and operating procedures.
Work with Mechanical, Electrical and Application teams on hardware/software integration.
Develop software utilities to improve equipment setup and operation.
