Job summary

ASMPT SMT Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to deliver 1st and 2nd level technical support to customers locally and regionally. The role involves installation, commissioning, production monitoring, and on-site training for Field Service Engineers and customers.

The candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics, 3+ years of relevant experience in SMT/Advanced Packaging, and be willing to travel on short notice to customer sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
3+ years of relevant work experience in SMT/semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Experience with SMT/Advanced Packaging processes and applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to local and regional/global customers.
Perform machine installation, commissioning, and production monitoring.
Deliver on-site product training for customers and internal teams.
Lead or contribute to global training projects and develop training materials.
Travel on short notice as required to customer sites.
