Job summary

WSP Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Site Supervisor to oversee civil, structural, MEP and specialist works on a mission-critical data centre project in Singapore. You will review drawings, supervise construction, maintain a site diary, and coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces to meet design intent and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Engineer with IES and/or ACES.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant site supervision experience.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, QA processes, testing and commissioning, and Singapore codes/regulations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project organization, contract requirements, site conditions, drawings, specs, and authority requirements.
• Supervise construction to ensure works align with approved drawings, specs, contracts and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, materials, and quality standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive Site Diary recording daily activities, inspections, instructions, incidents, and observations.
• Ensure contractors follow approved construction methodologies and installation requirements.
• Monitor and verify that works meet quality and reliability standards for mission-critical facilities.
• Review and monitor contractor submissions including shop drawings, method statements, and submittals.
• Ensure timely submission, review, and approval of technical documentation; use latest drawings.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design documents and site conditions.
• Maintain records of RFIs, clarifications, NCRs, and correspondence.
• Monitor progress against master programme and manage progress reports and payments.
• Identify delays/risks and propose mitigation; present reports to PM.
• Coordinate and resolve site issues among civil, structural, architectural, MEP, security, and specialist teams.
• Facilitate communication among contractors, consultants, client reps, and authorities.
• Identify interface risks affecting quality, schedule, or readiness.
• Attend site coordination meetings and design reviews.
• Escalate matters with potential cost, schedule, or safety impact.
• Witness inspections and testing; ensure IST and commissioning readiness.
• Verify test results against design criteria; manage defect close-out and handover tasks.
• Support authority inspections and ensure handover documentation is complete.
