Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Singapore is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead site infrastructure design for data centre developments, with emphasis on roads, drainage and utilities.

You will manage civil design from concept through construction support, coordinate with electrical, mechanical, BIM teams, and liaise with PUB, LTA and BCA to secure approvals.

Mentor junior engineers, promote technical excellence, and push for innovation through digital engineering and BIM within civil workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and relevant professional registrations.
• Experience leading civil design for data centre or industrial site developments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore codes and authority submission processes (PUB, LTA, BCA).
• Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, BIM).

Responsibilities

• Lead design of civil and site infrastructure works for data centre projects (roads, drainage, utilities).
• Manage civil engineering packages from concept through detailed design to construction support.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and authorities for project approvals.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the civil team.
• Identify opportunities for design efficiency, digital engineering, and BIM adoption.
