Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to lead vessel repair, maintenance, conversion and dry-docking in our in-house shipyard. You will drive planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with Technical Superintendents, Fleet Managers and engineering teams, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee subcontractors to achieve on-time project completion. Travel may be required for vessel attendance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in marine engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple vessel repair, maintenance, conversion and dry-docking projects from award to handover.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor progress, costs, risks and performance; implement recovery plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, technical and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with Technical Superintendents, Fleet Managers, Production, Engineering and Ops teams.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality, safety and on-time completion.
• Review technical specs, repair quotations, work orders and variations.
• Promote HSSEQ culture across the shipyard.
