Job summary

FERMAX ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Service Operations Lead to oversee daily service activities, guide engineers and technicians, and ensure safe, efficient maintenance and support for clients in Singapore.

You will plan resources, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, troubleshooting and communication skills, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced field service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in service engineering, maintenance operations or field services.
• Proven experience in managing operations and supervising service teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Proficient with MS Office and service management systems.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Customer-focused mindset prioritizing service excellence.
• Experience with MCST, facility maintenance or security/access control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily service operations for maintenance, repair and technical support.
• Lead and coordinate service engineers and technicians to meet safety and quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate manpower and resources for activities.
• Monitor performance, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Conduct site inspections ensuring safety, quality and customer requirements.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve technical matters.
• Prepare maintenance reports, quotations, and project documentation.
• Track KPIs and contractual obligations to ensure service excellence.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
• Support business development with technical input during client meetings.
• Stay updated with industry developments and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
