Job summary

Roche Diagnostics Asia Pacific seeks a Senior Application Consultant (Sequencing Lab) to provide scientific support and workflow optimization across pre- and post-sales for diverse sequencing platforms, including platform-specific chemistry and troubleshooting. You will synthesize responses from research and literature to improve applications and training plans for affiliates.

Travel up to 30% is expected; you will collaborate with Global and APAC teams, deliver trainings, and drive customer

Qualifications

• Experience in sequencing laboratory discipline including sample preparation, workflow and target capture.
• Experience in matrix organizations and regional structures; willing to travel up to 30%.
• Strong communication, analytical and training skills; ability to troubleshoot diverse platform chemistries.
• Familiar with bioinformatics software and NGS applications in oncology.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific support and workflow optimization across pre- and post-sales for multiple sequencing platforms.
• Drive troubleshooting and data analysis on Roche products for affiliates and customers.
• Develop and deliver application trainings and demonstrations; coordinate with Global and APAC stakeholders.
• Interpret affiliates’ needs and identify proper escalation pathways; report to Team Manager.
