Senior Sales Manager - Metals & Dry Bulk Commodities

Location: Singapore

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive international business development and commercial growth across Southeast Asia, China, the US and Europe.

This role offers an opportunity to expand global market presence, develop strategic customer partnerships and drive profitable growth within the metals, minerals and dry bulk commodities sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development and market expansion across Southeast Asia, China, the US and Europe, with a strong focus on China-related trade opportunities.
• Develop strategic relationships with international customers, traders, producers and industrial end-users.
• Identify new trading opportunities across metals, minerals and dry bulk commodities, driving sales volume, revenue and profitability.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies and contract execution to secure sustainable business growth.
• Monitor global commodity trends, supply-demand dynamics and competitive developments to identify commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with trading, logistics and operations teams to ensure effective execution of international transactions.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in commodity trading, metals, mining, dry bulk or international industrial sales.
• Proven track record in international business development, customer acquisition and commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of the China commodities market, with exposure to Southeast Asia, the US or European markets.
• Established industry relationships with commodity traders, producers or industrial customers would be advantageous.
• Commercially driven, with strong market awareness, negotiation skills and the ability to develop new business independently.
• Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline.
