Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking an experienced accounting professional to own end-to-end revenue accounting and accounts receivable for APAC entities. You will support monthly management reporting, ensure statutory compliance, and reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.

Play a key role in process improvements, variance analyses, and interactions with Treasury, Tax, and FP&A. Strong growth opportunities in a global AI-enabled network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification.
• Eight or more years accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Proficient with PCs, terminals and spreadsheet software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Excellent time management to meet monthly/quarterly/annual closing deadlines.
• Knowledge of financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned country books.
• Analyze revenues, cost of service, and operating expenses variances.
• Review balance sheet accounts for reconciliation and explain variances for month-end close.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and local statutory reports.
• Ensure US GAAP compliance and SOX/internal control adherence.
• Coordinate accounting entries with Treasury, Tax, Procurement, Logistics and Real Estate teams.
• Respond to FP&A, auditors, and other ad-hoc analyses.
• Support special projects including SAP S4 migration.
