Job summary

CELINE is seeking a Senior Training Manager to define the training needs of SEAO retail teams, design and deliver programs to elevate skills, knowledge and service quality across the region. You will partner with HQ and local stores to align training with business priorities and store performance.

You will lead the yearly training roadmap, develop in-person and virtual sessions on brand knowledge, selling ceremony and CRM, and manage budgets while coaching teams and selecting external suppliers

Qualifications

• 10 years’ training experience in retail or fashion industry, preferably in luxury.
• Experience in facilitating both technical and soft skill training.
• Candidates who are Certified Trainers will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define yearly training roadmap for SEAO region, aligning with HQ guidelines and strategic priorities.
• Design, develop and deliver in-person and virtual training programs on brand knowledge, collections and selling ceremony.
• Deliver training with local adaptation for new store openings, product knowledge, CRM, selling skills and regional workshops.
• Conduct induction with new joiners and collaborate with Store Managers for smooth onboarding.
• Prepare and localise training materials for programs.
• Conduct post-training follow-ups to ensure effectiveness and reinforce application of skills.
• In-store coaching to Retail teams to uphold client service standards and meet objectives.
• Identify training needs of local markets and implement interventions to achieve business goals.
• Propose, plan and manage annual training budget and monitor expenses.
• Collaborate with Central for global training initiatives and programs.
• Select and manage external training suppliers when necessary.
• Plan and implement projects to support retail learning (e.g., recognition programs, teambuilding).

Job description

As the Senior Training Manager, you will define the training needs of the retail teams for SEAO region based on business needs, design, implement and deliver store training interventions to elevate the skills, knowledge and competencies of our store teams. You will partner with retail teams to increase business performance, client satisfaction and ensure excellent service quality standards across SEAO region.

Job responsibilities

• Define yearly training roadmap for SEAO region, in line with HQ guidelines & strategic priorities, building a long-term vision for team growth & development
• Design, develop and deliver effective in-person and virtual training programs relating to brand knowledge, collections and selling ceremony
• Deliver training programs with local adaptation to support the needs of the retail teams, not limited to new store openings, product knowledge, CRM, selling skills training, local & regional workshops.
• Conduct induction with new joiners and work with Store Managers to ensure smooth onboarding journey
• Prepare and localise training materials necessary for the respective training programs
• Conduct follow-ups post training with participants to ensure effectiveness of the program and reinforce the application of skills learnt in training activities
• Conduct in-store coaching to Retail team to ensure high standards of client service and knowledge to support them to meet their objectives
• Identify training needs of the local markets and implement training interventions to support retail teams to achieve their business goals

• Work closely with Central for the implementation of global training initiatives & programs

• Bachelor’s Degree or above

Experience:

• 10 years’ training experience in retail or fashion industry, preferably in luxury
• Experience in facilitating both technical and soft skill training

• Strong business acumen with field coaching experience in luxury retail industry
• Good understanding of retail and strong client service mindset
