Job summary

Chello is opening its first store in Orchard, Singapore, and seeks a Senior Retail Associate to welcome customers and drive sales with strong service.

You will support daily store operations, mentor junior staff, handle cash, stock, and visual merchandising, and ensure policies and standards are met in a fast-paced environment. Join a growing team and contribute to exceptional shopping experiences with promotions and styling support. Availability for weekend shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Previous senior retail, supervisory, or team-leading experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
• Assist customers with product selection, enquiries, and recommendations.
• Drive sales by promoting products, promotions, and special offers.
• Support daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, stock replenishment, and inventory checks.

• Support Retail Manager/Supervisor in achieving sales targets and operational objectives.
• Guide and support junior retail staff with on-the-job coaching and training.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock receiving, transfers, and stocktaking.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and service standards are followed.
• Assist with administrative and other ad-hoc duties as required.
