Job summary

Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd (SingHealth HQ) seeks a Senior Assistant Director for the Office of Research to oversee the day-to-day operations of the IACUC and collaboration functions. The role includes supervising the IACUC secretariat and coordinating multi-institutional and strategic collaborations, while aligning the Group Research strategy with national priorities and developing action plans.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree with extensive experience, demonstrates strong

Qualifications

Postgraduate degree or Master’s in Science with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
Includes at least 4 years of managerial experience.
Experience as researcher or in clinical/translational research is advantageous.
Strong teamwork, communication and decision-making skills.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the IACUC and its secretariat.
Coordinate and facilitate multi-institutional collaborations.
Align Group Research strategy with national research agenda and develop action plans.
