Job summary

Micron Technology is hiring a Senior/Staff Product Quality and Reliability Assurance Engineer to support reliability qualification and quality monitoring of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) products. You will establish requirements, review data, and drive improvements across engineering, manufacturing, and customer support to ensure robust product performance.

The role requires 5+ years in semiconductors, strong troubleshooting, and experience with packaging, wafer/test systems, and reliability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor field.
• Knowledge of DRAM operation, fabrication process and semiconductor device physics.
• Familiarity with advanced packaging, wafer testing, component testing and module testing concept and flow.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good organizational skills and sharp attention to detail.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
• Knowledge of using JMP, Unix, DFII/Cadence, and/or ATE preferred.
• Familiarity with Perl, C++, Python, HTML, CGI, or Java preferred.
• Engineering experience in Product Engineering/Quality and Reliability/Process Integration/Product Yield Enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Define HBM qualification requirements and assess failures and failure rate.
• Perform risk assessment at decision points in qualification cycle.
• Review qualification data and sign off on requirements.
• Develop reliability targets and standards with teams.
• Improve product reliability tests for new HBM failure mechanisms.
• Coordinate specification improvements for existing products.
• Review quality metrics and drive DPM improvements.
• Provide internal technical support for customer support teams and field issues.
• Assist with corrective actions at manufacturing level and analyze field failure rates.
