Job summary

Micron Technology Singapore is seeking a Reliability Test Engineer to design and debug test programs for HBM device qualification, and to collaborate across Fab, HBM Tech Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.

You will analyze data for validation, define hardware interfaces, mentor colleagues, and drive risk assessment and cost reduction while delivering robust, high-quality memory products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of semiconductor experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python and C++.
• Solid problem-solving methodologies, with a focus on root causes and exploring solution spaces.
• Familiarity with CMOS technology, DRAM architecture, and basic device physics.
• Exposure to data analysis, statistics, and scripting tools such as Python or JMP.
• Familiar with testing verification approach.
• Ability to work effectively in team-based projects.
• Clear and effective communication skills, especially when articulating technical concepts and findings

Responsibilities

• Write and debug test programs for HBM device and package qualification and working with other teams to ensure full test coverage guarantees that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested and any potential issues are identified and addressed.
• Root Cause Understanding and Resolution of reliability test program related issues
• Promotion of Innovation and Challenge Status Quo: The role involves promoting innovation and driving for changes that will provide Micron with a technical advantage over its competition.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: This role necessitates collaboration with various cross-functional teams such as Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability team.
• Data Analysis for Validation: Utilizing in-house statistical tools for engineering data analysis for validation and risk assessment provides valuable insights into the performance and reliability of the products.
• Hardware Specifications and Validation: Defining interface hardware specifications and performing validation and debug of new interface boards ensures compatibility with various hardware and environments.
• Technical Decision Making: Making final decisions on risk analysis and project prioritization.
• Mentorship and Development of Others: Actively developing and mentoring others.
• Project Management: Developing project management skills within the team to ensure efficient execution and timely delivery of technological solutions.
• Process Improvement: Identifying system and process improvements and promoting continuous cost reduction and quality improvement efforts.
