Job summary

Singapore Prison Service seeks a Senior Assistant Director, Operations / Lead Reintegration Mentor to supervise daily operations at Selarang Halfway House or Cosford Annex. You will ensure safety, welfare of residents, and overall security while coordinating with SHWH Case Managers to aid reintegration into society.

You will manage security, resident flow, shift handovers, and incident reporting, with responsibilities spanning logistics, investigations, and estate feedback.

Qualifications

• Recognized Diploma in any discipline.
• Experience in operations, security or provost roles.
• Ability to manage diverse residents professionally.
• Basic knowledge of case management and counselling an advantage.
• Calm under pressure with de-escalation skills.
• Strong listening and analytical skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Multitasking and resourcefulness.
• Computer literacy with Word and Excel.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security screening to prevent contraband.
• Coordinate daily operational routine of SHWH/CA.
• Meet residents' day-to-day needs and ensure operations.
• Manage check-in/check-out and provide headcount updates.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and communicate pending matters.
• Provide logistical support and assist with bulky items.
• Conduct patrols and searches for resident safety.
• Collaborate with Case Managers on resident progress and records.
• Assist in handling grievances and investigations.
• Identify estate management defects and feedback for follow-up.
