Rise Above Halfway House in Singapore seeks a Security Officer to safeguard residents and facilities under residential rehabilitation programmes. You will enforce SOPs, monitor access, conduct patrols, and support programme operations.

Requirements: Diploma in Security Management or related field, at least 3 years of security operations experience in residential settings, willingness to work rotating AM/PM/Night shifts including weekends and public holidays, strong interpersonal skills and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Security Management or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant security operations experience in residential setting or similar.
• Night shift experience preferred.
• Able to work 3 rotating shifts AM/PM/Night, including weekends/PH/irregular hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries with residents.

Responsabilités

• Ensure overall security and safety of the Centre by adhering to SOPs and monitoring access points.
• Coordinate security, logistics, programme, and rehabilitation functions to support high performance and professional standards.
• Conduct regular patrols, bag checks, and security screenings.
• Maintain order and discipline among residents and monitor their movements.
• Escort residents when required and supervise sobriety tests.
• Report incidents promptly to management and document related records.
• Oversee workplace safety and health protocols.
• Manage logistical needs including accommodation, food, and maintenance.
• Identify and channel residents’ requests to social workers.
• Assist in facilitation of programmes and events and manage visit bookings.
• Coordinate resident engagement activities during festive seasons.
