Job summary

Maybank Singapore is seeking a regulatory project lead to drive key remediation programs across Regulatory, Compliance and Operations. You will manage timelines, dependencies and risks while coordinating with Business, Technology and Governance teams.

You will build dashboards and control towers to highlight trends and track actions, ensuring timely FATCA/CRS reporting and ongoing compliance with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• Experience in project management, regulatory change, Compliance, regulatory reporting or related banking functions.
• Good understanding of banking products and operations, and the business impact of regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound judgement, attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership in driving actions to closure.
• Clear communicator who can present complex matters concisely to management.
• Digital and data literacy, including Microsoft 365, AI and data visualisation tools.
• FATCA/CRS and regulatory reporting knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive key regulatory projects and remediation, managing timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate across Business, Operations, Technology and Compliance, and escalate issues that need a management decision.
• Support project working groups and governance forums with status updates, materials and tracking of decisions and actions.
• Build and maintain the Control Tower and management dashboards on Culture & Conduct and other key metrics, highlighting trends and exceptions.
• Oversee FATCA/CRS reporting and compliance, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and resolution of exceptions.
• Monitor FATCA/CRS developments and drive the required changes across policies, processes, controls and systems.
