Job summary

StraitsX Group is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance professional to join our MAS-regulated operations in Singapore. You will lead audits, liaison with regulators, manage regulatory changes, and oversee risk assessment and reporting across the business, product, and tech teams.

In this role you will draft management responses, monitor PSA/MAS notices, and coordinate with MAS, auditors and banking partners to ensure timely remediations and robust controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience within a MAS-regulated financial institution, payment firm, bank, or audit/advisory firm.
• Deep understanding of the Payment Services Act (PSA) and MAS notices/guidelines, especially AML/CFT, Technology Risk, Outsourcing, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Proven experience managing regulatory returns, implementing regulatory changes, and engaging directly with MAS.
• Strong writing and project-management capabilities with ability to communicate with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for internal/external audits and banking partner inspections; coordinate evidence and drafting responses.
• Conduct pre-audit reviews and manage issue tracking to remediate findings on time.
• Project-manage regulatory change initiatives across business, product, and tech teams.
• Track MAS notices and brief senior management on operational impacts.
• Partner with FCC to address gap analyses (e.g., MAS PSN01/2) and track corrective actions.
• Review new product launches and changes for regulatory requirements and risks.
• Respond to due diligence questionnaires from banking partners and oversee vendor reviews.
• Oversee regulatory obligations and policy registers; assist in enterprise-wide risk assessments.
