A leading healthcare institution in Singapore seeks a Radiographer to perform general and specialized radiographic examinations, supervise student radiographers, and maintain imaging quality control. Qualifications

  • Registered or eligible for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration.
  • 2-3 years in Interventional Radiography (IR) or RISPACS management preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous.

Job description

You will independently perform all general and certain specialised radiographic examinations such as ultrasound and other imaging modalities of diagnostic quality with due regard to patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology. Your role will include supervising student radiographers, leading Quality Improvement projects and coordinating with other staff and clinicians on radiographic-related issues. You will also be responsible for quality control programmes and maintenance of imaging equipment and accessories. Depending on your area of interest and availability of roles, you can specialise in advanced imaging such as Computerised Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound or Mammography in both inpatient and outpatient settings or assist in procedures such as Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).

Requirements
  • Recognised Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Registered or eligible for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration.
  • Candidates with at least 2-3 years in Interventional Radiography (IR) or RISPACS management experience will have an advantage for cardiac radiography.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Candidates with supervisory experience may be considered for the senior position.
  • Candidates with at least 3 years in Nuclear Medicine may be considered for a team lead role.
