Job summary

Mavenside Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control for interior fit-out and renovation projects in Singapore's CBD. You will prepare budgets, BOQs, tender docs and commercial analyses, while reviewing designs to identify quantities and potential risks.

Join a dynamic team delivering high-end corporate interiors, coordinating with design and site teams, and mentoring junior QS staff where applicable.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant QS experience.
Strong experience in interior fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

Manage full quantity surveying and cost management for interior fit-out and renovation projects.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, BOQ and tender documents.
Review drawings and specs to determine quantities, costs and risks.
Source, review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare tender comparisons and provide commercial recommendations.
Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with subcontractors.
Monitor costs, budgets, commitments and cash flow.
Prepare variations, claims and final accounts.
Review subcontractor progress claims and payments.
Prepare monthly cost reports and updates on financial performance.
Manage final accounts and close-out of costs.
