Job summary

ID21 Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of corporate office interior fit-out projects in Singapore. Candidates with Builder’s Works / Interior Fit-Out and M&E experience are encouraged to apply.

The role involves preparing quantities and tender docs, reviewing drawings, negotiating quotations, and managing costs across projects. Strong read of drawings and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction or a related discipline.
• Min 5–8 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in interior fit-out, renovation, design & build or M&E.
• Strong experience in either Builder’s Works / Interior Fit-Out or M&E.
• Good understanding of tendering, costing, measurement, progress claims, variations and final accounts.
• Good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in corporate office or commercial interior fit-out projects will be highly advantageous.
• Candidates with experience in both Builder’s Works and M&E will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantities, BQs, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Obtain, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Manage project costs, budgets and commercial documentation.
• Evaluate progress claims and variation orders.
• Handle subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and re-measurements.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Designers, M&E teams and subcontractors.
• Support the project team on commercial and contractual matters.
