Job summary

VIC Interior Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive with Quantity Surveying skills to support growth, tendering and project acquisition. You will identify new opportunities, prepare competitive tenders and quotations, and build client relationships across interior fit-out, A&A and construction projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or Civil Engineering, with 2–5 years in QS,

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.
2–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, tendering, business development or interior fit-out/construction.
Experience in interior fit-out, renovation, A&A or healthcare projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in interior fit-out, renovation, A&A and construction projects.
Source and monitor tender opportunities through GeBIZ, Ariba, SESAMi and other tender platforms.
Build and maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, suppliers and partners.
Prepare tender submissions, quotations, cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
Carry out quantity take-offs and measurement from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Source quotations and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare cost comparisons and analyse subcontractor/supplier quotations.
Assist management in developing competitive tender pricing and commercial proposals.
Attend tender briefings, site show-rounds, client meetings and business development meetings.
Follow up on submitted quotations and tenders and maintain records of tender outcomes.
Assist with preparation and assessment of variation orders, progress claims and final accounts where required.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure tender allowances and contractual requirements are communicated during project execution.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and potential project opportunities.
Maintain and update the company's project portfolio and business development documents.
