Job summary

PeopleSearch Pte Ltd is hiring Quantity Surveyors/Senior Quantity Surveyors for a large MRT project in Singapore. You will manage cost planning, budgeting, tender review, contract administration, cost reporting, and procurement support.

Candidates with 2+ years in QS within the construction industry are welcomed; more experience may be considered for senior roles. All information is treated confidentially.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior position.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost planning, budgeting, and quantity take-offs for infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, review, and evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor proposals.
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and payment certifications.
• Prepare progress claims, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
• Support procurement activities and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Track project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to management.
• Work closely with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate commercial risks.
• Assist in the resolution of contractual and commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records.
