Job summary

ASM in Singapore seeks a Senior QA Engineer to drive automated testing for semiconductor equipment software. You will work on QA processes, CI/CD integration, and testing across hardware-controlled software, improving quality and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing or QA, strong programming skills (Python/C++/C#), and hands-on experience in complex electromechanical systems. Travel up to 10–25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, software testing or test automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and test case management/issue tracking software.
• Hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or software developer in test in semiconductor equipment or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 10–25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, document, and improve software test suites.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software in simulation and on physical semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze functionality of engineering designs and provide feedback on quality and performance.
• Automate and integrate QA processes with CI/CD development workflows.
• Create and manage test plans and test cases for thorough validation of software updates.
