Job summary
ASMPT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality initiatives during NPD/NPI for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will lead QA for equipment, modules and components, perform reliability testing, and support process integration to ensure high reliability and performance.
You will collaborate with process, manufacturing, R&D and suppliers to set and monitor metrics, perform root cause analyses, and support field returns. Travel up to 30% is expected.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of quality engineering in semiconductor industry.
- Experience with SPC, 8D, Six Sigma.
- Experience with machine/equipment integration in fab.
- NPD/NPI with design to production transfer.
- Willing to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
- Strong analytical and data tools (JMP, Minitab).
- Strong communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance for semiconductor equipment, modules and components including qualification, reliability testing and yield improvement.
- Oversee equipment integration projects ensuring integration and quality compliance.
- Drive quality initiatives during new product development from design to ramp.
- Collaborate to establish and monitor quality metrics (SPC, defect reduction, KPI).
- Conduct root cause analysis and support customer complaint resolution (RMA, field returns).
- Collaborate with Field Service Engineers on field performance and improvements.
- Contribute to cross-functional process improvements.
- Travel to sites as needed for integration, audits, or troubleshooting.
