Job summary

TIEN SENG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. invites an experienced procurement professional to join our construction sourcing team in Singapore.

You will source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services, negotiating terms to secure competitive prices and timely delivery. You will coordinate with project managers, site teams, and quantity surveyors to meet procurement requirements, prepare purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
• Obtain quotations, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and quantity surveyors to meet project procurement requirements.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contract disputes.
