Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Purchasing Officer to source construction, maintenance, and handyman materials from reliable suppliers in Singapore. You will manage purchase orders, ensure on-time deliveries, and keep close coordination with site teams.

You should have at least 2 years of buying experience in construction, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to handle multiple requests independently while maintaining cost-conscious decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years purchasing experience in construction/building/renovation.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers and pricing.
• Strong negotiation and quotation comparison skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple purchase requests.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction, maintenance, repair and handyman materials, tools and equipment.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Coordinate with project/site teams on material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and source new suppliers when required.
• Ensure purchases are within the allocated project budget.
• Handle quotations, purchase orders, invoices and other purchasing documentation.
